Hi, and welcome to Amy Lavoie

Photography! As a photographer my

love and passion for photography goes

far and beyond my business, I love

everything about photography. I love

how you can capture memories in a

photograph and have those memories

for a lifetime and I love pushing myself

creatively by experimenting and learning

new techniques. I'm a stay at home mom

that uses her photography business as a

way to be creative and to get out of the

everyday routine of life.

As your photographer I will take the time

to sit down with you before your session

or event to try to get to know you and

also to make a list of your wants and

needs so I can be better prepared for

your session or special event.  My

specialty is working with people and

during your session I will try to get to

know your personality so I can better tell

your story through my lens. I try to make

sure that I keep my session’s casual,

relaxed, comfortable and low key to be

able to capture better photographs

rather than ones that everyone looks

stiff and nervous. I have several years of

experience as a photographer and I am

receiving my formal training at the Art

Institute of Pittsburgh, majoring in

photography.
